Fully refurbished in 2015, Olagaraia provides rural accommodation with 5 rooms for adults only, in Etxalar, Navarre. Traditional farmhouse architecture, alongside the comforts of a small hotel with its own open fireplace.
Silence amid the greenery
Surrounded by meadows and woodland, in a valley through which the River Bidasoa runs, Olagaraia offers 5 separate en suite bedrooms, all with the warmth of the original timber structure. A breakfast of local produce is served in the conservatory dining area, with views over the countryside.

Rural accommodation is not just a hotel. Ever since we opened Olagaraia, we have known exactly what we wanted: for you to stay at a hotel, but at the same time feel at home.
I have never tired of saying over recent years that we have been so very lucky with those of you who have decided to visit our home. Olagaraia exists thanks to you.
Opened in 2015. Reopened in 2024. We have re-varnished the wood, repainted the walls, replaced some of the furniture and paintings, brought in new sheets and redecorated the terrace. Some of the rooms have changed name. And we have a new website.
With a different look, but the same Olagaraia as ever: comfort amid the greenery, just a few miles from the coast. And an invitation to relax.
